• Novavax Inc. (NVAX): shares of malvern, PA based potential avian flu vaccine maker surged 11.72% or 62 cents to $5.72 on fear of global outbreak of the deadly bird flu. The stock has gained 46.48% since covered in November at $3.905 per share.

Solar Energy Stocks:

• SunPower Corporation (SPWR): shares of Sunnyvale, CA based solar cells and solar panel maker rose 9.15% or $3.63 to new high of $43.3. The stock is now 27.43% higher than coverage price of $33.98 in January.
